Hot Dog Day

Hot Dog Tuesday used to be the day of the week everyone looked forward to. A day where we would trek a few blocks west to the nearest 7-eleven at lunch for their 99-cent deal. Spirits were always high on Hot Dog Tuesdays, up until now...

Tuesday
We arrived at 7-Eleven only to realize they changed the dates from Tuesday to Monday and Saturday. They tried to convince us that 2 days was better than 1 day --

Fact: Two lame days are not better than one awesome day

• Saturday I'm usually out with my girlfriend. She is still my girlfriend because I do not take her on dates for 99c hot dogs.
• Monday is the day where everyone is overtired from staying out late over the weekend, why would we want to eat cheap hot dogs when we are trying to recover?

Heading back empty handed (for myself at least), we decided to make the trip out the following week.

The Following Monday
I wasn't really feeling like hot dogs as much as I have in the past, but 99c hot dogs are still really darn cheap, so I sucked it up and went regardless.

We all indulged our cheap gluttonous appetites. Free chili, cheese, and fixins galore. It was excellent.
